Brek Shea signed a one-year contract with Atlanta United after Vancouver Whitecaps did not pick up his option. Reigning MLS champions Atlanta United has signed U.S. national team midfielder Brek Shea to a one-year free agent contract. The 6-foot-3 defender spent the last two seasons with the Vancouver Whitecaps, but did not have his contract option picked up for the 2019 season.
